Merely beauty. This is what the Delbôve Cosmetics flagship store in Brussels, Belgium exudes with its sweep of clean, contemporary retail design and style by Christophe Remy.
Throughout this luxurious skincare shop which is rooted with history stemming from the 1950s, pristine white interiors glitter with mild gold accents like the series of Art Deco-inspired framed wall murals and chic script logo. Glossy dark wood veneer wraps the reception desk, item displays and laboratory workspace which all function sleek, brushed-gold trimmings.
Bright organic light penetrates the wide set of French doors at the entry foyer. A floor-to-ceiling glass and brass fixture meticulously showcases the high-finish skincare collection, contributing understated glamour to this decidedly contemporary space. Marble stone floors infused with delicate swirls of purple allude to the velvety plum walls and carpeting which await in the nearby lounge region. Framed artwork hangs above the set of diamond-patterned curved-back chairs, portraying the different plants which are infused into the sophisticated solution line.
A trio of white, mixed-shape modern pendants feature hammered-gold on the reverse side, even though perforated cones softly light the back counter where customers are treated to the sumptuous, naturally-derived skincare creams and serums.
An assortment of rectangular alcoves shine with minimalist arrangements of the brand’s bottles and jars which are all sophisticated types inspired by vintage apothecary glass. This show is gleaming and beautiful, treating each of the deluxe products as if they had been precious jewels.
Rich wood flooring in the center of the shop is highlighted by a graphic black-and-white accent carpet custom-developed by Remy. Delbôve Cosmetic’s luxe packaging draws from this elegantly vivid pattern, which was also created by the designer himself.
Delbôve Cosmetics embraces modern day retail style whilst separating itself from the ordinary with a cool, clean-lined aesthetic doused with discreet luxury.
