“For the style of this apartment, situated west of México City, the most critical was to discover the proper style language to balance the contemporary space with the classic furniture. For this a finishes palette and sober and elegant colors have been chosen to let the designs fusion. In addition state-of-the-art technologies for the light, audio and video manage was installed and custom style and produced special spaces for the operates of art.
A marble carpet, with a geometric pattern in chiaroscuro, welcomes at the principal entrance marking the way towards the corridor leading to public and private regions. The living area is extremely wide and has wonderful views of the city. The space is divided into living and study, both separated by a tiny living used for informal meetings. The dining room is in a separate area that has also magnificent views, a grand chandelier in the center of the space and connects directly with solutions.
The household area is a transitional space amongst the public and private places and has the ideal technologies to take pleasure in a movie or just listen to music. In this space stand out the ebony wood walls and ceilings, the absolute black granite wall and the Calacatta marble base, the combination of colors and textures make a distinctive atmosphere.
In the private area there is a study shared by the two bedrooms, ivory color is what stands out in this space and the wood veneer is highlighted with a soft carpet that with its natural colour scheme provides rhythm to the space. The master bedroom has a big bathroom carried out in marble with a generous dressing region adjacent to a small space, for reading or just relaxing, separated from all the apartment activities. The result is a modern space with an atmosphere in which the taste for the classic defines its special personality.”
